I am delighted to report that our “Technology Week and mini exhibition” has been a great success. Almost 200 visitors came through the doors during the week and they were able to see our wide range of PCB assembly, soldering and inspection products working. Now that there is no effective showcase exhibition for large production equipment, we will definitely be repeating the experience in the future.
As promised, here is a list of what we will be demonstrating at “Blundell Technology Week” 20th - 24th April:
New products will be the iPulse M8 slimline SMT mounter with new Valor software. Only 1 metre wide yet able to place up to 26,000 components per hour, the M8 sets new standards for placement rate per square foot of floor space. Also new is the Series 3 Versaflow selective soldering machine from Ersa. This is a complete re-design, and it is now modular, so you can start with a basic system and work up to an in-line solution.
Also on display at Technology Week will be the Ersa I-con hand soldering station, X-treme Dry storage cabinets, baking ovens and vacuum sealers, Ersa IR550 and IR650 rework stations, the Ersascope under BGA inspection system, The iPulse M4 SMT placement machine, smaller pick and place machines from Fritsch and TWS, Ebso low cost selective soldering machines, Aqueous PCB cleaning machines, Stencil cleaning machines, Reflow ovens from Ersa, Iemme and TWS, Temperature profilers from Circuitmaster, screen printers from Re-Print, CMS 400 and ETS 250 wave soldering machines, the Soldabac solder dross recovery system, fume extraction from BOFA, the Extra Eye first article inspection station, Dage X-Ray systems PVA conformal coating machines, and Fritsch manual SMT placement systems.
In addition, we will have guest exhibitors including Nutek (conveyors and handling systems), BLT (soldering consumables), Robotas (manual through hole assembly), Re-Print (screen printers) and Valor (SMT assembly software).
