NEW iPULSE M6 SMT PLACEMENT MACHINE

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

The new iPulse M6 SMT mounting machine combines the speed of a chipshooter and the flexibility of a mid range precision placer.

It features 6 axis full servo, high speed vision processing, two-way on the fly scanning, has 120 feeder inputs and an intelligent feeder system and high speed vision processing from a newly developed vision processing unit.

Typical tact time for an 0603 component would be 18,600 per hour (IPC9850 standard) an SOIC16 would be 17,400 cph and for a QFP100, 5,100cph. These impressive speeds are combined with stunning accuracy due to the machine’s rigid monocoque frame and 6 axis full servo head.
