It has a mesh conveyor with a width of 400mm and is full convection with a tunnel length of 1.5metres. It has cooling fans built in and a an LCD screen dispay with a memory for up to 14 programs. The PLUS 14 reflow oven for soldering surface mounted components is  available in the UK from Blundell Production Equipment. Optimum control of the airflow ensures stable, uniform distribution of heat and helps to keep energy costs low. Differences in thermal mass of the PCB’s being processed have no effect on the heating profile due to the low mass design of the oven interior.

I’ve just got back from spending 2 days walking around the SMT Exhibition in Nuremberg where there was a lot of optimism and the show was very busy. Ersa were showing their new “Best in Class” Hotflow reflow oven range. The Hotflow range has long been recognised as one of the most technically advanced convection reflow ovens available anywhere, and that applies to heat transfer, throughput, oven stability, process control, energy balance, power consumption and serviceablilty. These are bold claims, but having seen Ersa’s new oven in Nuremberg, they are definitely valid claims. The Hoflow 3 series is going to be big!
