In response to demand for lower priced wave soldering machines, we are now reconditioning a number of used Blundell CMS 400 wave soldering machines, and converting them to work with lead free solder. These machines are stripped down to the bare bones at our factory and are then rebuilt from the ground up, using new parts where necessary and are fitted with new solder baths with lead free surface treatment to all components that come into contact with the solder. Finger conveyor or pallet conveyor versions are available for approximately half the price of a new machine, and come with a full 12 month warranty. A new low cost robotic selective soldering machine has been introduced by Ebso, and is available in the UK from Blundell Production Equipment. The Ebso SPA 200 has a small footprint - taking up less than 1 square metre of floor space, and will selectively solder individual components on printed circuit boards of up to 200 x 200mm using a mini wave. It is programmable to select out single soldering points or lines. Connector soldering is a very common application where the machine will drag solder a line of connector leads. We currently have available second user full convection reflow oven for soldering surface mounted printed circuit boards. It has a mesh conveyor with a width of 400mm and is full convection with a tunnel length of 1.5metres. It has cooling fans built in and a an LCD screen dispay with a memory for up to 14 programs.
